Years ago, when my son was around one year old (he just turned sixteen a month ago), I cornered Mom and asked her if we could put a cookbook together. (I'd tried several years before and had published a miniature-sized version with the help of a roommate.) As you can see, life took me away from the project. Five kids later, my mom passing and "time on my hands," I find myself wanting to finish it, once and for all. Also, did I mention that the miniature cookbook I made in college is almost worn out?
The best part about this project is being able to reflect on the many precious memories I have of my beautiful mother.
I dedicate this blog to her, LuJean Robinson Moss (1937-2011).
